When Brett Goldstein, Jason Siegel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they managed to bring Harrison Ford into the series, Siegel said that Goldstein initially wanted a “Harrison Ford type”; and he was preparing to audition for people like Ford. Siegel told Goldstein that they should give it to Ford first, thinking that he would immediately reject it, but at least other people would know that the project had been given to Harrison Ford, which would generate interest from other famous actors.

First, as soon as I saw that Harrison Ford and Jason Seagal are playing in it, I was going to watch it, but then, after reading all the positive reviews and watching the trailer, my excitement grew even more. I’m not saying it’s the best series of the year, but it’s an original, good comedy that will keep you laughing every episode.
